Applus+ in the UAE Installs First 904L Quick-Lock® System for Pipeline Rehabilitation

Earlier this month, a significant leak was discovered in a 600mm GRP potable water pipeline operated by a national water company. The issue was reported at 6:31 PM, prompting Applus+ to mobilize swiftly. Within six hours, the Applus+ team had successfully repaired the leak and restored the pipeline to full service.

 The 904L Quick-Lock® system is designed for challenging pipeline conditions. It offers a robust and durable solution that eliminates the need for traditional excavation and replacement methods. The repair process involves inserting the stainless steel sleeve into the damaged section of the pipe, where it expands to form a tight seal, preventing further leakage and ensuring the pipe's structural integrity.
