Applus+ Velosi, UAE is proud to announce that it is the first entity within the Applus+ Group to achieve accreditation for ISO/IEC 17024 (Certification of Persons).
ISO/ISEC 17024 is a confirmation of the competence of a person to perform a specific task or job. This is valuable to a client because the standard ensures that his employee is truly capable of doing the task that he has been assigned.
Accreditation to offer this service is of value to Applus+ Velosi because many customers are now demanding that their staff be certified to the ISO 17024 standard, in order to verify that the employees training has been effective. By providing this service Applus Velosi can offer a wider range of higher added value services to customers who already use e.g. lifting gear inspection services.
Applus+ Velosi in the UAE was accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre, which governs the accreditations of Conformity Assessment Bodies across the United Arab Emirates.
