Alongside our products on show, we have our resident Metallurgists and experts on hand to demonstrate this technology in action and answer any questions.
The Creaform Laser Scanner will be available to see firsthand on Wednesday 13th March between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with many use cases including external corrosion mapping. This technology provides quick and easy non-destructive testing to enable organisations to meet Australian Safety and Compliance Regulatory requirements. It’s a handheld device that can cover an area of up to 4m2 and creates a permanent record with minimal disturbances to business operations.
We are also showcasing Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) technology on Thursday 14th March between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm which can identify types of chemical compounds used for analysis of paints, coatings and laminates; polymers and plastics; metals and many other organic and inorganic samples. Applus+ provides chemical testing and analysis services including metals testing, failure analysis, composition analysis and trace contamination detection.
Applus+ provides Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) which can be performed across multiple applications including NDT welding inspection, CUI inspection mapping, and inspections on composites and components of complex geometry. The benefits of using PAUT include no inherent safety concerns, no disruption of production due to radiation hazards and near real-time inspection results. This technology is available to see in action on Friday 15th Match between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
We’re lucky to have our IRATA Rope Access Instructor and Technical Authority, Chris Davies, available on our stand throughout the exhibition.
