Enertis Applus+ to provide QA/QC and testing services for New Zealand’s Lauriston Solar Farm

From the initial stages, our team at Enertis Applus+ will be deeply involved, bringing our expertise to bear in every aspect of the project. We will start with a rigorous pre-production factory audit of PV modules, ensuring that every component meets the industry and international standards before the start of mass production. During the daily manufacturing supervision, Enertis Applus+ inspectors will be on the ground, overseeing the entire PV modules production process to ensure rigorous quality control, consistency with contractual requirements and adherence to best practices at every stage of manufacturing.

Before any product leaves the supplier's facilities, it will undergo stringent pre-shipment inspection tests (PSI). The PSI tests will not be merely cursory checks but comprehensive evaluations at Enertis Applus+’s 3rd party accredited laboratory, ensuring that each module is fully operational and up to standard. Additionally, we will monitor the container loading process, verifying that the PV modules are packed securely for their journey to New Zealand.

Once the modules arrive, we will conduct thorough post-shipment testing to confirm that they have not been compromised during transit and are ready for deployment.

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) will be provided by Beon Energy Solutions and our services will be extensive and include the activities detailed below:

• Factory, Product, and Manufacturing Quality Inspection Audit: An in-depth review to ensure initial compliance with project specifications and relevant quality standards.
