    Q: Belinda, can you tell us a bit about your role at Applus+?
    A: Sure! I’m a VSS Coordinator based in Brisbane. My job involves organizing global third-party inspections, both in Australia and internationally. I work with clients and inspection offices across various time zones, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

    Q: What challenges did you face with your role initially?
    A: The biggest challenge was dealing with the limitations of the standard 9-5 office hours. Because I was coordinating across multiple time zones, sticking to a rigid schedule didn’t work. It made it tough to provide timely support to my clients and inspection teams around the world.

    Q: How did Applus+ help you address that challenge?
    A: Applus+ was great in offering me the option to work from home with flexible hours. This meant I could stretch my workday beyond the traditional 9-5 and be available whenever my clients or international offices needed me. It’s been a game-changer for how I manage my time and tasks.

    A: It’s been amazing for my work-life balance. I can manage both work and personal tasks seamlessly – like getting through emails while doing household chores in between. I don’t feel overwhelmed anymore, and it’s really helped me feel more relaxed and less stressed.

    A: I feel incredibly fortunate. The flexible work environment has allowed me to maintain a healthy balance between my job and my personal life. I don’t have the same pressure that comes with a full-time office role, and I can work from wherever my computer is. It’s perfect for me, though I understand it might not work for everyone.
