Applus+ in Canada and Makhos Inc. have formed a Joint Venture partnership to lead the way in developing Indigenous-led ventures in non-destructive evaluation (NDE) and quality control (QC).
The partnership, called AMI7G (Applus+ Makhos Inspections 7 Generations), will create opportunities to enable Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples to explore meaningful and prosperous career paths in the NDE & QC divisions of the construction industry. This strategic alliance takes advantage of the growing demand in the industry and utilizes Makhos' extensive Indigenous expertise and strong contacts in the Power Sector as well as First Nations communities and individuals.
The establishment of our joint venture serves as evidence of our dedication to promoting Indigenous leadership in the industry. AMI7G provides an Indigenous-led solution for NDE & QC operations in a wide range of projects, including both nuclear and non-nuclear ventures, which are mostly concentrated in Ontario.
Collectively, we are not only fostering new ideas and advancements, but also advocating for equal participation and empowerment in the field, so creating a path towards a fair and prosperous future for all individuals engaged.
