The Automotive Division in Denmark has made improvements to its truck and trailer inspection and pick-up service in Padborg, one of the country’s heavy-transportation hubs.
With a view to evolving and enhancing Applus+ services, and saving its clients time, the Automotive Division in Denmark has introduced a number of innovations to improve its truck and trailer inspection and pick-up service in Padborg, one of Denmark’s heavy-transportation hubs, where more than 40,000 inspections are performed each year and where we are facing ever-increasing competition.
Among these service enhancements is the option for clients to book the pick-up service simply by sending the vehicle’s registration number by SMS, leading to increased efficiency and time savings.
An expert project group made up of Per V. Rasmussen (Country Manager), Lars Haugaard (Region Manager) and Helle Söderhamn (Commercial Manager) was tasked with bringing about improvements. These individuals analysed client needs, sought solutions that made optimal use of Division services and subsequently developed these solutions.
In order to identify and implement improvements to this service, the team began by interviewing clients to find out how they might better be supported.
This project has resulted in an optimisation of the heavy vehicle inspection service and clients are more satisfied than ever with the work being carried out by the Automotive Division at the local Applus+ inspection station in Padborg.
Applus+ is the only company to offer a pick-up service for heavy vehicles, which is a source of pride to the local team.
