Applus+ is one of the world's leading testing, inspection and certification companies.
The Company was created in Barcelona in 1996 within the Agbar Group. Following a period of geographic expansion, strong growth in revenue and profit and ownership changes, it was listed on the Spanish Stock Markets in 2014.
For the previous financial year that ended on 31 December 2019, Applus+ reported revenue of €1,778 million and adjusted operating profit of €197 million and employed over 23,000 people in more than 70 countries. Revenue generated from the home country of Spain accounted for 23% of the total.
