Applus+ VELOSI’s team is working at the RPO-043R GIS Contract and consists of a Project Quality Supervisor with 15 Professional Engineers, 5 Civil Inspectors, 4 Electrical & Instrumentation Inspectors, 4 Mechanical Inspectors, 1 HVAC Inspector, and 1 Plumbing Inspector. Overall, it is a cohesive and integrated team with dedication and commitment.
Strengths of the Team
Best explained by Saudi Aramco’s Field Supervisor at the project when he said, “I have got the best team, and I can say it is the best in any division of Saudi Aramco’s Inspection Department”. In general, main traits of the team are:
- Cooperation with each other is the main trait of the team
- Each member compliments the other in areas of any deficiency, if any Team members keep striving for continual self-improvement. Almost every member of the team has developed general knowledge of the other members’ disciplines
- Plenty of communication occurs between team members of each discipline group related to ongoing issues on the projects we inspect
- No team member engages in win/loose activities with other team members
- Team members are always ready to take on additional tasks
- Team is always ready to absorb and mentor the new members. Every member encourages the development of the others
- Everyone participates actively and positively in meetings and discussions
- Each team member trusts the judgement of the others.
Award of Recognitions
The team has received recognitions from Saudi Aramco Projects Management Team (SAPMT) for adding value to the project and efforts in successful completion of the projects.
Recognition has also been given by Saudi Aramco’s Inspection Department for imparting awareness on Quality System, sharing technical knowledge and Safety Awareness sessions amongst the team.

- Ravindra Babu Bandarupalli, Quality Supervisor, was awarded with 1 recognition for added value for successful completion of the Pilot Project CO2 Capture & Injection Facilities and 3 recognitions for conducting Quality System Awareness sessions to the project management teams & contractors.
- Shabbar Abbas, Civil Inspector, received 2 recognitions for added value in Project Completion, 1 for Safety, and 3 forconducting Quality System Awareness sessions to the project management teams & contractors.
- Jeyakumar Sankararaj, Mechanical Inspector, received 1 recognition for Project Completion and 1 for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Noel B. Tiro, Civil Inspector, was awarded with 6 Safety recognitions and 1 for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Saravanan Arumugam, Civil Inspector, received 1 recognition for Project Completion, 1 Safety recognition and 1 for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Eddie C. Frincillo, Plumbing Inspector, received 2 recognitions for Project Completion, 1 Safety recognition and 1 for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Mar S. Pamintuan, HVAC Inspector, was awarded with 1 recognition for Project Completion, 5 Safety recognitions and 1 for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Ulfrando M. Francisquite, Electrical Inspector, received 1 Safety recognition.
- Hussain A. Musallam, Mechanical Inspector, received 1 recognition on Project Completion and 1 Safety recognition.
- Fadel A. Banai, Electrical Inspector, was awarded with 2 recognitions for Added Value to Projects and 1 recognition for Technical Knowledge Sharing.
- Adnan M. Mosallam, Electrical Inspector, was awarded with 1 recognition for Project Completion and 2 Safety recognitions.
