Applus+ in Peru is responsible for providing the asset integrity inspection service on the integral network of the natural gas system in Lima and Callao, ensuring the correct operation and the continuous and reliable supply of natural gas to industrial, commercial and residential users. The services cover both regulated and non-regulated maintenance activities, executed in the installations and/or on the infrastructure of the Natural Gas Distribution System, in a programmed manner. This is delivered in consideration of the manufacturer's instructions, the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the Natural Gas Distribution System, legal and regulatory requirements, and maintenance best practices.
Among the 33 services provided on the contract, our experts assess the emergency attention to domestic internal installations, only performed by specialised technicians registered with the supervisory agency OSINERGMIN; the maintenance of steel networks and polyethylene networks consisting of the repair of affected pipes with and without leakage; attention of civil works on public roads according to the client's requirement; and the Damage Prevention Plan with a patrol in the Steel Networks of more than 8,500 km, among others. The periodic execution of these activities allows the client to guarantee the correct and efficient operation of the distribution system.
