Applus+ is awarded a contract to perform regular inspections of the heating and low voltage installations for an important local administration in Catalonia, Spain

    The Energy & Industry Division of Applus+ has been awarded the contract to provide inspection services of the low voltage electrical installations and heating installations of the municipal buildings of one of the biggest councils of Catalonia. These services first started early in 2021 and are expected to come to an end in December 2022.

    The main goal of this service is to analyse the state of the installations and the buildings in order to evaluate their safety, efficiency and compliance with the regulations, codes and standards, to obtain the relevant certificate recognising their good condition.

    Through its entity Applus+ Norcontrol S.L.U., Applus+ can operate as a Monitoring Body (OC) authorised by the government to carry out regulatory inspections of low voltage installations pursuant to the Spanish Royal Decree 842/2002, and inspections of heating installations pursuant to Spanish Royal Decrees 1027/2007 and 238/2013.  Applus+ also holds the corresponding certifications by the Spanish National Certification Body (ENAC) to carry out these services.

    Applus+ technical team has a long experience carrying out periodical regulatory inspections of different types, as well as a deep knowledge of the regulations in force. This allows us to guarantee compliance with the relevant rules and ensure the safety, energy saving and functionalities required by this type of installations.
