Applus+ will carry out a rig inspection service for one of the biggest oil and gas companies in Indonesia.
This project will cover the drilling equipment, rotating equipment, mud system, well control, safety support equipment, power plant equipment, electrical equipment, and marine equipment. The inspection will guarantee full compliance with the safety, health and environmental requirements, as well as with mandatory standards, such as API, IEC, IADC and OEM (Original Engineering Manufacturer).
In August 2022, the inspections begun with the selection survey and condition survey which can be done on-site or remotely. Then, the acceptance survey, follow up survey, and simulant integrated test will be done by our inspector on site. Upon completion, the final report will present observations and recommendations (critical, major, and minor), as well as a description of the actual condition of the rig. In addition, the rig inspection report will cover the details of the operational status or readiness, this document will help clients prioritise the corrective measures required.
