After several years collaborating with one of the biggest telecommunications companies in Spain, which saw a strong increase and exponential growth in the reach of its activities, the client granted Applus+ in 2020 complete control over the Project Management Office to provide fibre optics to its customers. With this new commitment, Applus+ will be fully in charge of managing the provision of fibre optics to the customers of this leading company in its sector.
By awarding this contract, the client has given full control of the service to Applus+, including the management of systems and signal coverage.
The goal of Applus+ is to consolidate an integral model of a complete Project Management Office in the area of telecommunications. To achieve this goal, 120 Applus+ professionals in the area of telecommunications work daily to successfully carry out all the activities in this contract, which has an initial length of 30 months.
In this first stage, Applus+ wants to drive the digitisation of processes with the creation of a new Systems team, boosting the team with key profiles, offering the client a quality monitoring service and promoting the integration of different areas of the project and the synergies between them.
