In January 2022, the Applus+ team in Brazil commenced technical inspection and standardisation services for overhead and underground distribution networks carrying low-voltage electricity across the state of Ceará, Brazil.
To deliver the inspections over 36 months, 85 employees will be mobilised from three operational bases.
The project is part of our client’s objectives to reduce electricity losses, and will standardise the energy supply of networks serving customers in the 75 municipalities who depend on the service.
The team from Applus+ are coordinating and supervising the inspection work, feeding and updating databases and digitalised reports, and administrating and coordinating the works’ materials.
Through these technical inspections, our clients can rely on the quality of technical measurements for the electrical installations to operate as specified. This critical work also avoids disruptions and outages in the energy supply, while ensuring the project’s delivery complies with the latest legislation and the standards regulating low-voltage electrical installations in Brazil.
