Applus+ ensures environmental management for a major hydrocarbon transportation project in Colombia

The project's comprehensive approach includes providing specialized technical and administrative support for risk management and environmental management services in operations, maintenance, projects, and new business within the hydrocarbon transportation infrastructure. Applus+ will be responsible for ensuring environmental viability, managing legal compliance, implementing compensation and sustainability obligations, and securing cartographic products for feasibility and compensation processes.

The primary objective is to offer an all-encompassing service that ensures the environmental and operational condition of the client's facilities, complying with all environmental regulations and mitigating risks in more than 226 municipalities and 21 departments. This project will be developed in various regions, covering cities such as Cúcuta, Santa Marta, Villavicencio, Cali, Barrancabermeja, Bogotá, Puerto Salgar, and Medellín, with a duration of three years, from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027.

One of the main challenges will be ensuring the timely and effective delivery of services, for which Applus+ will implement agile and efficient mechanisms within its internal management system.
