Applus+ in Italy has been awarded a Framework Agreement with a major Italian manufacturing company

In accordance with regulatory and voluntary requirements, Applus+ vendor surveillance services help clients to monitor and evaluate their products, processes and services, ensuring objective and impartial results and minimising financial impact.

In detail, Applus+ will offer the following activities:

• Inspection and surveillance services, including:
  • Kick-off meetings and pre-inspection sessions.
  • Prior to the start of construction: document approval, ITP reviews, material certifications, laboratory suitability, equipment calibration certificates, staff qualifications and qualification of NDT procedures.
  • During the construction phase: supervision and inspection of everything described in the ITP, progress on engineering, procurement, construction, testing and material deliveries, review of test certifications and issuance of anomaly reports as required.
  • Post-construction: supervision of FAT (Final Acceptance Test), validation of inspection notes issued by the main contractor, review of final data books and resolution of any identified non-conformities.
• Vendor control, including:
  • Verification of the availability and correctness of project documents.
  • Monitoring the progress of activities at the vendors’ premises.
  • Participation in work progress meetings.
  • Requesting updates of production plans from the vendor.
  • Ensuring the correct preparation and availability of the required goods.
• Reporting: compilation of reports issued by all staff mobilised at vendor locations.
