Applus+ in Italy will provide vendor surveillance activities for an Italian manufacturer in a FPSO project in Guyana

Applus+ will provide a range of quality assurance services to a leading Italian manufacturer of alternative compressors, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, etc., all vital components for handling hydrocarbons and gases.

The FPSO will have a topside designed to produce approximately 250,000 barrels of oil per day. It will also have the capacity to treat 540 million cubic feet of associated gas per day, inject  350,000 barrels per day and handle 300,000 barrels of produced water daily.

The vendor inspection services offered by Applus+ provide a guarantee to customers that the equipment they purchase adheres to the correct specifications and minimizes the financial impact associated with defective equipment.

Upon the client´s request, inspections will be carried out remotely, enabling an inspector to oversee a "live" inspection even when not physically present at the supplier's workshop.
