On 21st November, Applus+ will hold an Expert Forum on new challenges in sustainability and safety in the railway sector. The event will take place from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm at Cloudworks' offices at Paseo de la Castellana 86. This meeting is aimed at exploring key strategies to enhance the contribution to the circular economy, decarbonisation and sustainability of the entire value chain of the railway sector (designers, engineers, manufacturers, material suppliers, service providers, operators, etc...), at a time when regulatory pressure is growing and all social sectors increasingly value responsible practices.
The conference will include case studies analysed by our experts in Railway Safety, Decarbonisation, Circular Economy and Sustainability, in which attendees will learn how Applus+ has collaborated with other companies in overcoming the challenges currently most demanded by society, reinforcing the synergies between operational efficiency and sustainability. To close the event, a panel discussion will be held with experts on the CSRD and CS3D Directives, addressing European sustainability challenges and adaptation to these regulations.
With this initiative, Applus+ reinforces its commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the railway sector, ensuring that companies can achieve their environmental objectives without compromising performance and reliability.
