Applus+ oversees quality in major underground mine project in Chile

Applus+ services include essential tasks to ensure the quality and timely arrival of the equipment, materials, and structures acquired for the project. The services provided include:

• Assistance with FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing): Inspection and pre-shipment inspection of equipment functionality at the factory.
• Quality inspection: Ensuring all components meet the specifications and standards required by the client.
• Expediting services: Monitoring manufacturing progress and meeting delivery dates.
• Pre-shipment inspection: Ensuring supplies are dispatched to their destination in optimal conditions and minimizing potential damage during transportation.

This service has been crucial for the continuity and success of the project, ensuring equipment arrives at the site without issues, minimizing risks, and avoiding costly delays.

The project has been primarily developed in Chile (90%), as well as in China, the United States, Mexico, India, and Canada. Applus+ began offering these services in March 2022, and a second project expansion is expected to continue until February 2026.
