Applus+ oversees safety, health, and environmental compliance in the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Peru

The primary objective of the project is to ensure that the plant's construction complies with all SSOMA regulations, proactively managing potential safety and occupational health risks while controlling the environmental impact. Additionally, Applus+ will supervise compliance with the Archaeological Monitoring Plan to ensure that all activities respect the cultural heritage of the area.

Applus+ will provide effective SSOMA supervision, leading health and safety management on the project and monitoring the activities of contractors and subcontractors. It will also participate in contractual meetings, advising the client and contractors on compliance with current regulations to minimize possible penalties and avoid negative impacts during project execution.

Among the main environmental risks identified are workplace accidents, spills, and other environmental incidents that could halt the project. To mitigate these risks, Applus+ will implement periodic audits, inspections, and training sessions for workers and contractors. Recognition programs will also be developed for those who excel in SSOMA compliance.

With Applus+ supervision, the construction of the photovoltaic plant is expected to be completed while maintaining optimal safety indicators. Moreover, legal compliance in SSOMA will be guaranteed, avoiding fines and penalties that could negatively impact the client. This project strengthens the strategic ties between Applus+ and the client, opening up opportunities for future collaborations in the energy sector.

During the project, Applus+ will provide monthly reports to the client, detailing progress and results achieved in SSOMA supervision.
