Applus+ supervises and audits operational processes for a major multinational in Panama’s energy sector

The contract has a duration of 24 months. It will guarantee full compliance with the safety, health and environmental requirements, as well as compliance with the economic and quality criteria of the work carried out.

Likewise, the supervision and auditing services ensure compliance with the obligations and requirements arising from mandatory national, regional and local laws or regulations.

Applus+ HSE Audit (Health, Safety and Environment audit) procedure can be broken down into four main phases, which range from planning and execution to archiving the reports of the audits carried out, according to strict criteria. These processes allow the client to be sure that they comply with current legislation and good practice standards, thus projecting a positive image of the company before third parties. Additionally, insurance premiums will be reduced by demonstrating competence in matters of safety, health and the environment to the insurance companies.

The scope of services consists of the verification of the works carried out within the client's concession area in terms of development and maintenance of the distribution network (includes medium and low voltage network, substations and high voltage lines), operations with the client, the exploitation of the network, the integrated management system and the feasibility study in horizontal and vertical structures.
