The global changes of recent years have highlighted the urgency of a transition towards a more sustainable future, which means that energy supply managers must pay attention to decarbonization objectives and how this affects the maintenance area.
To address all these issues, Applus+ will attend the 18th Maintenance Conference in the Power Sector on February 29th, organized by the Spanish Maintenance Association (AEM) and held in Madrid. This event aims to bring together leading experts in the sector to share their most recent practical experiences on maintenance in times of crisis and how new types and technologies of maintenance, as well as customised digital solutions, can help achieve objectives and overcome present challenges.
Representing our company will be Gonzalo Veiras, Head of the Technology and Digitalization Knowledge Area in the electrical sector, who will deliver a presentation on Applus+'s experience in the digitalization of the electrical sector, and will speak about Traza+, a platform developed in our company for the management of power grids based on a geographic positioning application. This allows for the day-to-day management of electrical grids and renewable energy plants, reducing the complexity of their maintenance and improving decision-making.
