Applus+ in Turkey has been awarded a new Letter-of-Intent (LOI) for a drilling company

The project consists of an offshore gas field, which is claimed to be the largest discovery in the Black Sea, thanks to an estimated capacity of 405 billion cubic meters. Upon completion of the first phase in 2023, the field will deliver ten million cubic meters (MCUM) of gas per day.

The overall objective of vendor surveillance by Applus+ in Turkey is to represent as 2nd Party Inspector on behalf of the customer. The activities required will be supervision and QA/QC of critical equipment and materials through various phases of manufacture, up to final testing and preparation for shipment (as determined by the scope of each source inspection assignment).

Applus+ in Turkey is providing mainly the following services to clients, composed of:

• Review, monitor, and witness key stages of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and testing as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Evaluation of quality compliance as per Project specifications / codes / standards / regulations and contract requirements.
• Sign off authority for vendor-supplied goods that will require visits to Vendor yard, Pipe Mills, Foundries, etc.
