Endesa has awarded Applus+ the contract to carry out periodic controls and measurements at the Compostilla Thermal Power Plant in relation to the authorisations for the landfills in their different phases.
The three-year contract also includes the monitoring, control and reporting of the aspects for legal requirements to be complied with as established in the Environmental Authorization or in the resolution of the authorization of the decommissioning project of the plant in question, as a result of the regulations for the decommissioning of facilities supported by fossil fuels.
The scope of the service includes topographic control of landfills, sampling of discharges, ground and surface water control, waste management, and control of atmospheric emissions and noise measurement, among others.
