    • Since 2022, Enertis Applus+ has ensured quality and audited PV module supply chains for a few PV plants owned by Repsol in the US.
    • Since 2020, Enertis Applus+ has implemented accredited audit, inspection, and testing services for several PV plants in Spain, with a total capacity of ca. 600 MWp.
    • Enertis Applus+ has also provided technical advisory services during module supply contract negotiations, audited factories, and supervised the production process.

Global consulting, engineering, and quality control firm Enertis Applus+, with deep expertise in renewable energy and storage, provided quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services for solar PV plants owned by Repsol, collectively totaling 2+ GWp in capacity.

The projects are among Repsol’s most notable solar assets in operation, and they are in the US, Spain, and Chile.

Enertis Applus+ has provided independent technical consultancy services, auditing the PV module supply chain traceability. Additionally, Enertis Applus+ performed IEC/ISO 17020 accredited supervision of the manufacturing processes and facilities to identify and mitigate any possible non-conformities and risks.

Before the shipment to the site, Enertis Applus+ carried out testing in its CBTL/IECEE, IEC/ISO 17025 accredited laboratory to verify equipment compliance with module supply agreements’ high-quality requirements. Enertis Applus+ inspectors have performed this exhaustive monitoring and supervision of Tier-1 manufacturers in coordination with our experts worldwide. At some of the PV sites, Enertis Applus+ conducted post-shipment inspection activities to verify that the quality of the modules had not been compromised during sea and road transportation from the factory to the plant.

“Repsol’s repeated trust in Enertis Applus+ demonstrates our deep technical knowledge and expertise in providing QA/QC and independent technical advisory services for solar PV projects worldwide”, said Vicente Parra, Head of Quality and Technology at Enertis Applus+. “We are proud to collaborate with one of the main players of the energy sector to safeguard its solar PV installations around the world and confirm that they meet the highest quality standards, a fundamental element to ensure their long-term profitability.”
