Applus+ is part of the Más Mujeres, Mejores Empresas (More Women, Better Business) protocol, which encourages the entrance of women into executive management positions as a way to promote female leadership, one of the driving forces for change in the corporate environment and one of the best ways to fight gender stereotypes in all areas.
The program More Women, Better Business is an initiative of the Spanish Ministry of Equality that aims to support equal participation of women and men in decision-making at the corporate and economic levels, facilitating women themselves, as well as companies and organizations, tools to achieve it. The initiative encompasses different actions and projects that seek the same goals:
Professional development and female leadership programs
To become a part of the program by signing the protocol to increase the presence of women in management positions, Boards of Directors, governing bodies and/or Management Committees.
In addition to this, the Institute of Women in Spain organizes several networking activities and meetings in which Applus+ actively participates.
