As ICMC19 celebrates its 7th year, Applus+ Laboratories will present the latest knowledge evolving from our services, work and research for cybersecurity and international security standards.
The conference brings together leading specialist in commercial cryptography from around the globe, and Applus+ Laboratories will welcome participants to a talk on the European approach to digital signature security and a workshop covering hardware attacks.
Gonzalo Porlán Moreno, Common Criteria Technical Manager
Gonzalo represents Applus+ Laboratories on a number of working groups for Common Criteria, and, as an expert security evaluator, he will present the challenges for manufacturers to reconfigure their security solutions for forthcoming EU standards and regulations covering digital signatures. The event will offer industry practitioners an overview of the technological requirements to support the eventual replacement of handwritten signatures to a certification system for legal digital signatures.
David Hernández García, R&D Manager David will host a workshop on hardware attacks, drawing on his work and research on computer and smart card security, encryption and cryptography. The workshop will explore the latest insights into preventing cryptographic hardware attacks when running AES and RSA encryptions, and participants will get the opportunity to explore these evolving risks, covering which typical hardware countermeasures can be deployed.
