Applus+ Shareholders General Meeting 2022

For his part Joan Amigó thanked the Board of Directors for their confidence in him as he takes over as the new CEO of Applus+. Along with the President, Christopher Cole, Joan Amigó also praised the achievements of Fernando Basabe over his eleven-year tenure as CEO. Joan Amigó said that he would focus his efforts on achieving excellence and success for clients, partners, shareholders and employees; with the main objective of increasing share value.

During the meeting, all the items proposed by the Board of Directors were approved, with widespread support from the shareholders. Among them, the appointment of Brendan Connolly and Marie-Françoise as Independent Directors was ratified, while Christopher Cole and Ernesto Mata were both re-elected.  Other items approved included the annual accounts and the non-financial information statement, along with the reduction of share capital through the amortization of shares existing in treasury stock, representing 5% of the share capital.
