On 22 June, the award ceremony for the AECA Awards for Business Transparency were hosted by the Spanish Accounting and Business Administration Association (AECA). Held at the Club Financiero Génova in Madrid, Applus+ received a secondary award in recognition of the quality of its corporate information.
In their 22nd year, the awards recognise listed and IBEX 35 companies each year for their results in terms of information transparency, specifically the quality, accessibility, usability, content and presence of the information disseminated through their corporate websites.
The awards are divided into two categories, depending on the size of the companies: Ibex 35 Companies and Listed Companies (IBEX Medium and Small Cap). In the first category, the main award was presented to Endesa, and in the second category, the award was presented to Ercros.
Applus+ received a secondary award in recognition of the quality of its corporate information issued in the Listed Companies (IBEX Medium and Small Cap) category. The secondary award in this category was given to DOMINION. AENA and MAPFRE also received secondary awards as IBEX 35 companies.
Enagás received the award for the most outstanding improvement, and ROVI published the best integrated report, according to the jury.
