Applus+ Laboratories and Capgemini have developed a new security evaluation framework to evaluate the security of connected elements and IoT solutions. The two companies will present this project at the Securmática IT security and privacy event in Madrid (April 27 at 9:30h).
Due to the growing number of connected devices and the need to evaluate their security, both companies have been working on a security evaluation framework to evaluate IoT security. This evaluation model takes into account the large variety of IoT solutions and their industry applications: from large energy and infrastructure companies to automotive or domestic automation solutions.
The Applus+ and Capgemini solution is a modular scheme, with different scopes of evaluation according to different factors, such as the type of device or its ecosystem. The technological context and the business model of the company will also be taken into account.
