    The current market context requires us to adapt rapidly to the realities of our new business environment. The creation of well-defined customer value propositions and unparalleled technical capabilities are the keys to our success and business generation.
     
    In the light of these issues, the Energy & Industry Division’s North American Executive Management Group held its 2016 Applications and Technical Capability Summit in Houston, Texas, in March.
    All the areas in the region took part in this summit at which participants explored, through a series of meetings and workshops, how best to exploit and manage business opportunities and how to enhance the Applus+ value proposition in the US market.
     
     
     
     
     
    From an internal perspective, groups agreed on the importance of closer alignment, a common language and processes, effective prioritisation, good teamwork and the creation of value for the customer, among other things. From an external perspective, they discussed a series of prerequisites for positive customer relationships, such as in-depth knowledge, collaboration and commitment, the mutual creation of value and growth opportunities, and sustainability.
