Applus+ awarded electrical systems control project for Codensa in Colombia

    Codensa, Colombia’s market leader in the supply and sale of electrical power, controlling 24% of the national market, has awarded Applus+ a contract to monitor, mesure and verify its electrical systems in the city of Bogotá.
    The project will be rolled out over the coming three years. Applus+, through its Energy & Industry Division team in Colombia, will provide services in the capital’s South-Eastern Zone and surrounding areas.
     
    The project involves, among other things, ensuring that the power grid and customers’ connections with it are fit for purpose, loss control in the company’s various facilities and the drawing up and implementation of technical measures for the maintenance of said facilities.
     
     
    Applus+ hereby strengthens its position as a benchmark service provider to Colombia’s electricity industry in the generation, transport and distribution of power.
