Applus+ Completes First Radiography NDT Project in Papua New Guinea

Recently, Applus+ celebrated the completion of its first radiography NDT project in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The project required radiography to be performed on a newly fabricated bulk fuel storage tank.

A darkroom facility was set up at the Applus+ office in PNG allowing the technicians to develop the radiographic films and provide the client with results on a daily basis.

A milestone event for Applus+ in Papua New Guinea, the project was completed within three days with all operations running smoothly.

Special thanks to Applus+ technicians Mark Harper, based in Australia, and Israel Kuilenge and Daniel Pere, both based in Papua New Guinea, for their work on the project.
