The Energy & Industry Division of Applus+ in the UAE achieves accreditation for ISO/IEC 17024

    The Applus+ Velosi team in the UAE is proud to be the first within the Applus+ Group to achieve ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation (confirmation of the competence of a person to perform a specific task or job). This valuable accreditation assures clients that their employees are indeed capable of carrying out their assigned tasks.

    Many clients now ask that their staff be certified to ISO/IEC 17024 standard, as a means of verifying that employee training has been effective. Being able to offer this accreditation thus adds considerable value to the Applus+ Velosi service offer, expanding its range of higher added value services for those customers already using lifting gear inspection services.
     
    Applus+ Velosi in Abu Dhabi was accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre, a newly formed body which governs the accreditation of management systems across the UAE.
