Applus+ promotes a safer and more inclusive work environment, for a more equal, fair and sustainable society

We promote a fair and competitive environment that allows us to generate opportunities for development and professional growth whilst at the same time retaining and attracting talented professionals. We train our professionals to improve their capabilities and learn new skills.

To foster diversity, Applus+ carries out numerous initiatives that promote the participation of women at all levels of the company, the inclusion of people with disabilities and the employment of marginalised groups, such as ethnic and racial minorities, as well as the eradication of all forms of discrimination in selection and promotion processes.

The figures underline the success of our initiatives. 60% of our professionals are covered by the Equality and Conciliation Councils. 40% of the members of our Board of Directors are women, something that very few listed companies achieve. More than 70% of vacancies in management positions are covered by internal promotion and we actively work to improve the communities in which we operate, with 86% of our employees being from the countries where they work.

Our measures have also received external recognition: the European Diversity Awards and the Inspiring Workplace Awards, for our contributions towards diversity; the Employer Brand Management Awards, for offering the best employee experience; and our commitment to health and safety has been recognized by the UK Constructionline Gold Award and the US National Safety Council.
