Applus+ protects cars from rust in in Finland and Denmark

    The wet climate and salt on the roads makes rust on vehicles very common in both Denmark and Finland. Through its Automotive Division in both countries, Applus+ has begun to commercialise rust protection on both new and old cars in its service stations. Rust is now included as an extra point of difference in inspections, in a bid to promote vehicle safety and raise awareness of the need for drivers to take a responsible attitude and avoid traffic accidents.

    Applus+ clients are invited to attend the inspection, allowing the inspector to give them technical advice during the process. The inspector can, for example, show the client if the undercarriage is rusty. Through a nationwide agreement with a high-quality rust protection company, the client can then avail of a special offer on rust protection.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    In addition, as Applus+ operates as the pick-up point for the treatment, clients return with their cars, allowing for further relationship building.
     
    The initiative has brought higher levels of client satisfaction by using the professional knowledge of Applus+ employees in a new context in order to improve awareness of different elements of vehicle safety.
