Applus+ team in Angola celebrate Spanish National Holiday at Spanish Embassy

    On 12th October, Fernando Gomes, Applus+ Angola Country Manager, attended the celebration held by the Spanish Embassy in Luanda in honour of the Spanish National Holiday.

    Applus+ invited some of our most important clients in Angola to the event, where they had the pleasure of hearing a speech from the Spanish Ambassador, His Excellency Manuel Hernández.
     
    The Ambassador pointed to the number of Spanish companies present in Angola – some for over 30 years – and highlighted their potential contribution to the perceived “new spring” in the country, following recent political and economic reform. He made special mention of the Applus+ contribution, and our corporate video was also shown.
     
    During the celebration, our clients were interested to hear about all of the services we offer in Angola, such as engineering and consulting, inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), certification services and technical staffing. They were pleased to note our excellent business position in Angola and the support from official institutions.
     
    Applus+ has operated in Angola since 2005, providing technical staffing, inspection and NDT services for the oil and gas industry. We are trusted partners for the main operators, Sonangol, Chevron, ENI and TOTAL. During the last 13 years, Applus+ has participated in the most significant oil and gas projects in the country: the Kaombo Ultra-Deep offshore project, the Mamufeira South field development, the Congo River Crossing pipeline, and the Soyo LNG plant.
