Applus+ IDIADA starts managing proving ground in China

Celebrating the opening of the first phase of a new proving ground located in Zhaoyuan (Shandong province).
LINGLONG Tires and Applus+ IDIADA celebrated the opening of the first phase of a new proving ground located in Zhaoyuan (Shandong province).
In 2013, IDIADA contributed to the design of the complex, and later in 2014 was also chosen to manage the operations for the new proving ground. The complex in China will be open to all companies in the automotive sector and will follow the same rules and standards of safety, confidentiality and customer service that apply in IDIADA’s proving ground in Spain.
The 150-hectare complex, still under construction, will have a total of 16 tracks including a 5.2 km high-speed circuit. Six of these tracks, namely the multipurpose platform, the straight line braking track, the pass-by noise test track, the wet handling, wet circle and the dynamic platform will soon be operative.
During the event held on October 18th, Mr. Wang Feng, President of LINGLONG Tires handed over the proving ground operation to Applus+ IDIADA, represented by Mr. Carles Grasas, Chief Executive Officer of Applus+ IDIADA.
