Applus+ Automotive, through its Riteve brand in Costa Rica, has received a FIA Americas Award from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) for its contribution to improvements in road safety and promotion of respect for the environment. This recognition reinforces the company’s social commitment in Costa Rica, thereby contributing to safer and greener mobility.
The FIA also recognised Jennifer Hidalgo, Riteve’s Deputy Director for Communications and Social Responsibility, for her part in the brand’s sustainable driving campaigns.
The awards gala, which is held every January in Panama, brings together the Americas’ big names in motor sport and road safety. The FIA is globally renowned for its promotion not only of sport but also of safety, sustainability and accessibility for the benefit of road users all around the world.
Applus+ Riteve is firmly committed to social responsibility in Costa Rica. In partnership with the country’s transport police and National Road Safety Council, our company is running a series of road-safety and accident-prevention programmes through which we demonstrate our deeply held commitment to the lives and safety of Costa Rica’s citizens, as well as to the preservation of the environment.
