Many test programmes, such as in aerospace, are characterised by the multisite and collaborative nature between teams of the manufacturer, partners and suppliers. The management of these programmes has usually been based on the transfer of specialised personnel teams, which implies management and communication problems, as well as increases in costs and product-development times.
The e-Testing platform enables the online management, monitoring and control of tests and other projects in the aerospace sector in real-time monitoring, required by the client and its suppliers. e-Testing responds to the concept of open laboratory because the solution allows clients to participate in the testing and gathering of results. This digital solution has been specially developed to reduce the risks associated with testing and to shorten the validation deadlines for product-development programmes such as in aerospace.
e-Testing has been developed through different internal R&D projects, with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism within the context of the AVANZA programme, and the European Commission within the framework of the NHYTE project included in the H2020 programme.
The e-Testing system is applicable to any test category and to all the scales of a programme (coupons, details elements, subcomponents, components, etc.):
Clients with testing requirements from any sector.
