Applus+ successfully conducted an Ex Inspection for an Indonesian Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Company

    The Applus+ team in Indonesia conducted the hazardous area installation inspection of the cementing package, which included liquid aditive systems (LAS), a control unit, a cementing unit, and a catepilar engine. We deployed 4 Ex Certified personnel for the project which is located in West Papua, Indonesia.

    Our Inspector performed a yearly inspection on the existing site referring to the Code and Rules IEC60079 Series. The service's objectives are to provide an inspection certificate that assures safe procedures are maintained in potentially hazardous, flammable, or explosive atmospheres at sites.

    In the hazardous area electrical installation inspection process, our CompEX Certified Inspector observes and supervises the fabricator's testing to ensure that the processes performed met the specified standards. Although there are occasionally challenges as a result of delays in the welding process, material, or other production from the fabricator that will also cause delays in the certification process completion schedule, our benefit as an approved CompEx, IECEx, and EEHA training center ensures that our personnel is versed in the latest standards and ready for any circumstances at all times.

    Applus+ in Indonesia now expands its portfolio of electrical inspection services to expand the market presence in industrial manufacturing sectors, as well as mining and oil and gas sectors.
