Applus+ in China recently completed a significant milestone in renewable energy with an acceptance inspection for a large-scale distributed photovoltaic (PV) power station in Liaoning Province. Commissioned by China Energy Liaoning New Energy Co., Ltd., this project was awarded to Applus+ in China by Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. With an ambitious planned capacity of 200MWp, the PV station spans ten cities. It includes over ten thousand photovoltaic modules, making it a vital component of the region's renewable energy framework.
The project required inspections of all PV modules within a tight two-month timeframe, a challenge that demanded precise logistics and seamless coordination. Applus+ in China's team carried specialized inspection equipment to multiple locations, navigating complex module layouts and space constraints with expertise and efficiency. Conducting these inspections in an already-assembled site required flexibility, and our engineers rose to the occasion, managing the limited workspace and delivering a comprehensive inspection under challenging conditions.
