DTI Trekscan
The DTI Trekscan is a free-floating in-line inspection tool designed to inspect pipelines with challenging geometries, including those previously deemed 'unpiggable'. The tool is engineered to navigate back-to-back one-dimensional (1D) bends at an optimal speed of one metre per second (2.2 mph).
Using ultrasonic technology, DTI Trekscan provides accurate data on pipeline wall thickness, helping to detect, characterize, and size metal-loss anomalies. This tool is suitable for use with refined petroleum products, water, and crude oils, and is capable of delivering reliable results in pipelines that carry a wide variety of media.
PIT Crawler Tool
The Pipeline Inspection Tool Crawler is a self-propelled ultrasonic measurement system designed to provide detailed, full-coverage assessments of pipeline walls. It can accurately detect internal and external corrosion, as well as measure metal loss due to mechanical damage or manufacturing issues. In addition, the tool can identify deformations such as ovalization, dents, buckles, erosion, and laminations. It can also be configured to detect cracks, offering comprehensive information to pipeline operators.
