Applus+ in Singapore has achieved a significant milestone in its commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards. Recently, the company was invited by Malaysia Deepwater Production Contractors Sdn. Bhd. (MDPC) to attend an esteemed HSSE forum held in Kuala Lumpur. During this event, Applus+ was honored with a recognition award for its outstanding HSSE practices.

The award specifically acknowledges Applus+ in Singapore's exceptional HSSE standards demonstrated during their work onboard the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, Kikeh, where the team conducted CompEX Inspections since 2018. Built in 1974 and converted in 2007, the FPSO Kikeh is the first and largest deepwater FPSO in Malaysia and Asia, according to its parent company, MISC. The vessel has an impressive production capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil per day and can store up to two million barrels of oil.

Applus+ was the only foreign company to be nominated for the prestigious Platinum award, further underscoring the company's exemplary performance in HSSE. This accolade not only recognizes the hard work and dedication of the Applus+ team but also sets a benchmark for other companies in the industry to strive towards achieving superior HSSE standards.

“We are immensely proud of this recognition,” said Tang Johan, General Manager for Applus+ in Singapore. “Being acknowledged with the Platinum award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, security, and environmental stewardship. It reinforces our resolve to continue upholding and exceeding HSSE standards in all our operations.”

The recognition from MDPC is a significant achievement for Applus+, reflecting their leadership in HSSE practices within the industry. The company remains committed to continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of health, safety, security, and environmental management.
