Applus+ Korea secures 3-year contract for inspection of 20 spheres with major petrochemical company

Applus+' HEX system introduces a groundbreaking alternative access solution that eliminates the need for full scaffolding, traditionally used to accommodate personnel. In recent years, South Korea has experienced rising labor costs associated with traditional scaffolding inspection methods, coupled with safety concerns due to the aging workforce of scaffolding workers. Additionally, the enactment of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act has heightened legal and social responsibilities for employers regarding safety. In this context, the Applus+ HEX access system offers significant advantages.

The ability to perform external work simultaneously with internal work can further reduce downtime. The open design of the HEX system also improves lighting conditions and visibility, allowing for better supervision of inspection quality.
