On February 2022, Applus+ has successfully delivered ASME Certification Service for our client, a major player in Power Boiler in Indonesia. It is a renewal program for U Designator (pressure vessel), S Designator (Power Boiler), and NBIC R Stamp for repair and alteration. Applus+ provides the required support to renew the ASME Certification through a renewal audit, as the Certificate of Authorization is valid for 3 years and will need to be renewed before expired.
The ASME Code is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard that regulates the design, development and construction of boilers and pressure vessels. The benefit of ASME Certification is to get international recognition of company’s quality control system. The ASME BPVC Certification Program conforms to the rules governing the design, fabrication, assembly, and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel components during construction. This program is to ensure the safety of the products.
During the two-day audit, ASME Joint Review was obtained by our ASME Authorized Inspector and ASME Authorized Inspector Supervisor from Applus+ Group and witnessed by the representative from ASME International, both online and offline at the client’s workshop.
