Our Magnetic Particle (MT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT) Testing Level 1 and 2 Course offers NDT training designed to meet the requirements of SNT-TC-1A (ASNT) for the qualification of Level I & II personnel in the Magnetic Particle inspection and the Liquid Penetrant Testing methods. This session combines multiple modes of learning to increase the student’s body of knowledge while promoting precision, efficiency, perception, and ethical behavior while performing NDT processes.
This course covers both Magnetic Particle Testing (24hrs) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (16hrs). The program first delivers MT ( 3 days) and then PT (2 days) within the same week for a combined 40 hours of total training.
This course is modeled after the requirements listed in NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A and has been developed using a wide range of resources. Lectures are accompanied by visual displays, video presentations, and inspection process simulations to challenge the student, promote discovery, and to reinforce the essential attributes of the magnetic particle inspection and liquid penetrant testing process.
